Forum 3: What Do You Meme?

For this assignment, I used a photo of my sister and I that we took at a taco-themed museum where we are holding giant bottles of hot sauce. Now that there is a COVID-19 outbreak, and grocery stores are selling out of many products, I found a picture in an article online of empty grocery store shelves with frustrated people trying to shop. I thought of this as a perfect opportunity for a meme about how much my family loves hot sauce... so much that we sold out the whole store!

Using Photoshop, I took the selection tool and outlined my sister and me with our giant bottles of hot sauce, and copied the selected layer onto the grocery store photo. I then used a smart filter to add a gaussian blur onto the picture of my sister and me. I then added a brightness and contrast layer. Lastly, I added text to the picture and added a stroke to the text to make it a MEME!
